Titeflex representative Dottie Carrier accepts the Company of the Year award from APICS Granite State chapter president Dave Turbide at an award ceremony held recently at Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth.

The Granite State Chapter of APICS, the leading professional organization for operations and supply chain management, today announced Smiths Tubular Systems (Titeflex) in Laconia as its Company of the Year for 2015. The award presentation took place at the chapter’s Professional Development Meeting at Great Bay Community College on September 15th. Chapter president Dave Turbide presented the award to Dottie Carrier, Strategic Operations Analyst for Titeflex.

In the award presentation, Titeflex was cited for its outstanding support for APICS principles, notably a dedication to manufacturing operations performance improvement and a focus on employee training and skills enhancement. The local APICS chapter also noted that Titeflex supports APICS certification training by sponsoring a number of employees to attend the Certified Supply Chain Professionals (CSCP) course and hosted a series of classes for employees interested in gaining APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). It should be noted that Titeflex maintains an APICS Enterprise Membership with more than 20 members enrolled in the Granite State APICS chapter.
