Nylon lined composite hose assemblies suitable for a wide variety of refrigerated liquefied gasses.
Manufactured with high tensile strength T316 stainless steel inner and outer wires with engineered resistant barrier layers embedded in the hose wall to prevent permeation and leakage. Hose assemblies are capable of pressurization and full vacuum with threaded or flanged end connections for the arduous marine service conditions. Bore sizes 4” (100mm), 6” (150mm) and 8” (200mm) are certified as complying with The IMO Gas Carrier Code (Type Approval temperatures to minus 50C (-58F) and pressures to 10 bar (150psi) and USCG regulations 33 CFR Section 127.1102. Hose assemblies are available for rope lagging for additional dragging protection and insulation. Working pressures of up to 350 psi (25 bar) with conformance to EN 13765:2010 and working temperatures from -30 C (-20 F) to 135 C (275 F).

Specially designed end fittings hove been developed for use with Willcox Composite hoses that have a unique leak-proof sealing face and specially machined helical spiral shank which engages into the corresponding internal helix wire when secured into the hose by either crimping or swaging the external ferrules.
Pressure based on safety factor 5:1. Dimensions and weight are approximate and are subject to change. For additional technical data such as pressure drop, max. flow rates and tensile strength, please consult Titeflex US Hose engineering. Increased operating temperatures will reduce working pressure of the assemblies. Fitting pressure rating may limit working pressure of the assembly. Rated working pressure is @ 70°F (21°C).
